Out of Hours

Out of hours support programmes are designed to assist the local authority's emergency duty team to improve the quality of service they provide to their service users.

​

Our services include:

​

  • Provision of support to adults, children and young people.

  • Crisis intervention.

  • Supportive and/or preventative care either in the family home or foster placements including various appropriate settings.

  • Resolution management.

  • Escorting to and from placement.

  • Respite care.

L.I.F.E101 provides these services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our service offers a fresh, sensitive and honest approach to those issues requiring effective action. This service includes a fast and flexible assistance to families/carers and others who need pro-active support.

The support given can either be within their home or at an outreach base. The programme caters for families from diverse backgrounds as well as children and young people with challenging behaviour.

Our prime purpose is to provide stability and safety, in order to gain time for the lead professional to move the matter forward.

Emergency Placement for 16+

LIFE101 have an established group of trained staff,  who can assist the out of hours team.

LIFE101 work 365 days per year and 24 hours per day and are available to attend Police Stations and Courts at all times.​

Emergency Accomodation Packages:

We can assist with emergency accommodation which can be ‘spot purchased’ at any time.  We can support a young person aged 16+ who is at risk and in need of emergency accommodation for a variety of reasons which may include bail refusal, alternative to secure accommodation, remanded to local authority accommodation or assist young people to comply with the directions of the Court.

​

LIFE101 Bail Support package would include escort services to and from Court or any other placement.  The package is designed to avoid such remands by offering the constructive alternative of community-based provision.

We undertake to:

​

  • Provide accommodation with curfew monitoring.

  • Liaise with the lead professionals and Youth Offending Teams.

  • Act as Appropriate Adult.

Outreach

LIFE101 offers an outreach service to work proactively alongside families/carers in their own home and or community;

 

its primary aim is to support an action plan of:​

​

  • Rehabilitation of children/young person(s).

  • Prevention of children/young person(s) needing to be taken into care/custody.

  • Respite for families with children with disabilities.

  • Foster placements.

  • Step back: from family assessment and/or rehabilitation back into the community.

Our outreach programme provides a range of interim supportive care with strength based working strategies to enhance multi-agency cooperation.

​

We can respond, appropriately to develop personalised plans for individual family needs and are ideally suited help the lead professional in this process, as we have a staff base, which have a variety of social skills.

Escort

We provide an escort service for children and young people to and from:

  • Contact.

  • Placements.

  • Accompany young people to appointments with barristers.

  • Court.

  • Police Stations.

  • Hostel.

  • Schools.

  • Foster Placements or any other destination in Consultation with the Authority.

  • Return absconders from anywhere in the UK.

  • Act as appropriate adult at police stations.
